Stormwater Management
In most cases, the District is not involved with the review and approval of Stormwater Management (SWM) plans. Per a written agreement, Baltimore County Dept. of Environmental Protection and Sustainability (DEPS) reviews all SWM plans on behalf of the District; however, SWM plans containing small ponds must be forwarded, along with all relevant pond documents, to the District for final signature and processing after DEPS has signed for approval.
Forest Harvest
When a forest harvest is proposed on private property it is necessary to submit a Forest Harvest Operation - Sediment Control Plan Application to the District for review and approval.
